Sometimes I want to cry when I hear people say mean and ignorant things. I had a conversation today and the person said ‘Gays are mental and sick in the head and that is the truth’.
It hurts because it’s sentences like these that separate and degrade people, and as a black person, I truly understand how horrible comments like this are. People who think like this need to understand that we will all live on this earth and then we all die. we need to spend our time on this earth being open and tolerant to people of all backgrounds and lifestyles, instead of hating and making outcasts of living human beings.
I just find it so hard to comprehend how people can think about other people they don’t even know in such a negative way.
i think freckles, stretch marks, tattoos, bruises, birthmarks and scars are probably the coolest thing, you started with almost a blank canvas and look at u now, all this evidence that you’ve lived and the sun has shone on you and you’ve grown and maybe tripped up a few times and liked an image so much u made it a permanent part of u, beautiful.
kissing is hella rad but no one is kissing me so that makes me hella sad
